I'm off to the TT tomorrow. A great experience as anyone who has been will know. I'm always on the look out for good new spots to watch and with a single lap covering 37. something miles it would take several lifetimes to find all the best ones.
So, in the spirit of sharing, if anyone wants to disclose their favourites, especially if they are a little bit unusual, and maybe hard to find then please do. I am happy to start with a couple of my favourites.
1. Conker Trees. A few miles before Ramsey. As you approach from Douglas side the farmer's field on the right has ample parking and a well run marquee. The length of the field allows you to walk about half a mile and view the bikes hitting the left kink around the (Conker) tree on the back wheel if they're trying. Fast for photos but a good view point.
2. Gooseneck. Above Ramsey, nice slow corner for photographs. You can walk down towards Tower Bends for some variety. On a sunny day absolutely great view of the sea and Ramsey too. Radio speakers allow you to keep track of the commentary.
