Not For Shredding

Here we are in the process of moving house, and Mrs A has tasked me to empty all of the "cr*p" from the filing cabinet and shred it.

Well I have found the September 1998 issue of Bike magazine and the original BMW R1100S brochure of the same vintage ..... they are not for shredding ...

I bought my first R1100S in March 1999, so clearly the publicity had some effect. :D

Awesome! I still have a 1150GS Adventure brochure, as well as a R1150R brochure. When I see these bikes (including the S) in these brochures, I swear they would sell better today than when they were launched. Classic coolness about all of them. Plus the added benefit of good old reliable, no messy electronics machinary. Bring back the 80's and 90's.

That may or may not have been my R1100S mine - R165RRD - was used by MCN.
