Disks

For a couple of years I've put up with a slight warp in one of my front disks on my KGT, I've ridden around it most of the time. But now they'd got to the point of being worn out and not wanting to pay £270 per disk to BMW I got these from eBay

Great value at £66 each, especially as they're the same as the OEM ones which are also Brembo (and the same as on my BCR)!
Put new bobbins / bolts / washers .... .and then discovered why mine had previously been troublesome.
A few years back I asked the dealership to pop new bolts on my disks as they'd gotten corroded. Turns out one of the washers had gotten trapped inside the bobbin and forced into place between the bolt and the bobbin effectively removing the "floating" functionality. Then first time I cooked the brakes it had nowhere to go but to warp the disk.
I've kept the offending parts but won't kick a fuss up as it's a genuine accident and I don't want to spoil the relationship I have with my dealers.
Any way a test ride confirmed yesterday my brakes are back to awesome
