If anyone has these fitted to a bike, you may want to check that all is well.

The clutch lever on the K13 fell off, not sure where but noticed while on the M25 yesterday. A bit of a shock to say the least!

The part that is bolted to the handle bar clamp is still there but it failed at the span adjuster.

Bikes never been dropped or had any kind of damage / knocked about in that area. Done about 10,000 miles.

You wouldn't want his friend "Mr Brake" to fall off like that! :?

Anything in the design to explain it?

Yes, I know!

Looks like the pivot 'bolt' where the span can be adjusted, fell out. Doesn't look like a bolt, maybe rose joint?

The V-Trec levers have what look like normal allen heads with lock nuts.

I'm going to send photos etc to Wunderlich and see what happens. I not after anything but if it had been the brake, I may not have been so lucky. I think they need to check the design. A normal bolt and lock nut would give you warning and would remain in place if the lock nut came loose. The main pivot pins have a thread which screws into the handle bar clamp and then a lock nut as well.
