R1200S Stick Coils

Hi,

Further to my previous post about a flat spot under acceleration.

BMW want £95 to run a diagnostic on my bike.

Stick coils are about £80.

I'm thinking of buying a 2hd unit and trying to fix the problem myself as I have better things to spend my money on at the moment.

Can I use a stick coil from another R1200 bike?

And before I break one how do the plug covers come off?
