Jim Clarke Rally Tragedy . There has been a multiple loss of life at Britains biggest and best rally event. This is an event run by enthusiasts to professional standards on closed public roads. It is a proud event and run to the highest standard but sadly three spectators have lost there life today near Kelso. It is well supported and everyone likes the thrill of getting up close to the action. So sad

Edit, the event has been cancelled and I think that was correct and respectful.

A sad day for the Borders.

If there was any chance of the "Borders TT" getting the go-ahead........ Events yesterday will have put an end to that, I think.

If I am ever on life support - Unplug me......
Then plug me back in..........

See if that works .....

Tragedy. Interesting clip on last night BBC news at 10 where a woman marshall said that basically they do everything they can but people insist on getting as close as possible to the action.
Perhaps the public need to heed and respect the marshals instructions as they do at the TT where the rules are enforced and respected.

Pretty sure that is the case, but the economic climate within road racing has put paid to that already I fear.
