true cost of fuel

I have been in Trinidad for five weeks now, and for three weeks I have had a Toyota Fortuna as my vehicle:



Last night I refueled it for the fiirst time .... nearly empty to full 72 litres of diesel for 81 $TT.

I paid 200 $TT in cash first - that is £20 - and was surprised that it filled the tank, the cashier then gave me 119 $TT back.

That makes diesel 11p per litre



In just over two weeks I'm going home to cuddle the bikes and stroke the cat, amongst other things, shame I can't take some cheap fuel home with me.

Mrs A has been over to Trinni warming in the sunshine,

it is Oscar the cat that I miss, as much as the bikes.
