Exhaust wobble... Normal?

Just put a Remus Ti exhaust on my K1200.

It sounds nice, no blowing at all, but the end can wobbles a bit as it held with only 1 rubber mount, and had a spring joint holding the can to the link pipe.

Anything to worry about? Doesn't blow no matter how much I wobble it.....

Looks like this-

Hello,

I used Remus exhausts on my K1200/1300S motorcycles and found that to stop the apparent movement entailed doing up the joint collar nut and bolt very tight as it was actually moving from there and "pivoting" around the single mount at the rear. Is this what is happening to yours?

Hope that helps,

Best regards,

David

Yea, its a rubber mount with a steel collar in it. It's done up as tight as possible, so the movement is in the rubber. It actually wobbles less when everything has warmed up (guess the spring joint expands?).

Just been for a ride and its really nice. Not offensive, but I can actually hear the exhaust now, and not just the buzz from the engine. Seems to have smoothed the throttle response out a bit at low and medium revs. Happy days! :)
