I'd go nut and bolt too. I've not had one strip but I've had one vibrate out (until I loctited them!)

And now when you go to undo them the plastic bit they go into will turn
I rigged a nut and bolt on the back locked up tight so i can get the screws out of the front side ( hope this makes sense )
