Not me Al, sry,

Busy doing a nice oil/filter change (Castrol Power 1 Racing 10w-50 4T Full Synth), oh and a bit of DIY on the Bungy.

Where you visiting the Castle? or was it a Cream Tea?

Had a w/end in the motorhome up your way at West Quantockshead, visited the castle and the village as we came back along the coast to Lynmouth and then home. I was resting in the round shelter while Sue was shopping, a silver 12 went through the village with another bike a couple of cars behind didn`t know if you and Karen were out for a sunday ride.

That would be the Yarn Market, spent many a happy hour there in my youth lol, if we had known you guys were up our way we'd have met you for a drink or you could have popped into ours, next time maybe.

We had dropped K's bike of a Riders for its service on Saturday hence my oil change so no biking for us on Sunday, plus with the 25mph brigade out in force it's probably best to stay home

I have had a remap and can do nearly 35 in the van!!! Last minute thing on friday, never been up there in the van before, did a walk from the village up onto the top of the Quantocks, did about 5-6 miles, amazing views of the coast(and Wales) could nearly see our old house in Barry, followed by a Thatchers or 3! in the Windmill, will def be back up that way as we found that we can overnight near the lifeboat station in Minehead, so will drop you a pm if we do.

At 35mph you'd get held up on the A39 Bridgwater road

Double whites nearly all the way from Minehead, what used to be a great biking road is now a car park :!:

Deffo let us know when your back up these parts Al, a drop of "Thatchers" on a sunny day, just what the Dr ordered hehe

(Well, an apple a day………)

If the Silver R12 had a loudish exhaust and was followed a little bit behind by a k13 then is was me and my wife out for a run from Taunton. K13 is hers.
:D

If that's the bloody road from Minehead back towards the motorway, it was a total pita, especially on a Sunday as every Sunday driver seemed intent on impeding decent progress after the SW Weekend :)

The very same Steve, went to Riders of Bridwater Sat afternoon to drop Karens bike off for a service, 30mph there and the same back again, only trouble on the return we were 2up.
The Taunton to Minehead road is almost as bad, slow drivers and double whites nearly all the way.

Thing is roads like that frustrate people into either making mistakes or breaking the law all so that Granny Ethel can trundle her Nissan Micra at 30 mph enroute to the WRVS meeting :)

I don't force them to travel at my speed, why should they force me to travel at theirs ;)

Hi Phil, yes, often at Minehead on the bikes, our regular Sunday ride out. K13 is newish (to us) so will not have been there much this year but what a bike!

Gin used to have a white CB1000R or a blue Tiger 955 which would have been parked up close to the R12.

Dave, nice to see you both, even if it was from a distance. Quite a few of us on here from this neck of the woods, we need a meet up at a suitable spot for natter and a drink before the summer finishes, Tavistock possibly?
