Bad ride out - Throttle woes

Took the bike out today, I just knew it wasn't going to go well after a van pulled out on me after the first 30 secs.

The first problem was that the bike started to cut out when pulling the clutch in at some lights. I noticed that the revs would drop below 1000, then slowly creep back up to just above 1000 where it should be. Overall it did this 3 times. But the whole dropping and creeping thing surely isn't right

But the fun part was when I just came off a roundabout, pinned the throttle and it just stuck at 7000 revs. After I switched everything off and twisted the throttle a few times it settled back down again.

I've had enough throttle woes in the last 3 months to last a lifetime. It's off to BMW in Hertford next week to see if the pros can sort it out.

Check the cable hasn't dislodged on the right hand throttle
Check the vacuum take off rubbers haven't gone walkies.
Get your TPS calibrated, if you know someone with a GS911 it's an easy job. I have one but am prolly too far :)

Cool, I'll check the first 2 tomorrow, I'll let BMW do the rest.
