Looking to touch up the peeling paint (or whatever it is) on the cylinder heads of the 1150. I've seen Halfrauds mentioned, but other commentary that unless it's on an exhaust or manifold it doesn't get hot enough to cure properly.
Ideas anyone? Oh, and I'll need silver or alu colour, ie not Model T black. And preferably brush-on unless you can spray a bit into a lid and brush it from there.
I had paint flaking off the RHS cylinder. I cleaned it up with emery cloth, etch primered and then used the smootherite silver I put on the fork lowers.
I`ve used it on cylinder heads, great stuff, sprays on really well and is much more forgiving than `normal` paint, copes with the heat no problem looks good and is easy to touch up again should you ever have to.
