A guy on bike radar posted this picture. Love it, how to combine two of my favourite hobbies.

Fab! Hope there's no hidden message about 1200 reliability?

Yep. I spread myself too thin. Motorbike, road bicycle and mountain bike. More often than not, given a sunny day and a couple of spare hours I will go out on the pedal bike rather than the motorbike.
In some respects the bicycles give me the feeling I used to get from my motorbikes 25 years ago. I think the ideal compromise might be an enduro. I have been giving more and more thought to some green laneing.

I did this with my GS back in 2008; I did post some pictures on the UK GS'er site..but this idea here is a bit rubbish as the bike is hanging all the way out the back, mine fitted behind the rider with the wheels in a carrier either side. there's a US company that makes a similar rack to this, but they all hang the bike off the back..
I rode from home in Italy to St Rapheal in the South of France... to race at one of the biggest MTB events in Europe, an event called Roc D Azur.I wrote my car off a couple of days before the event and really needed to get there...
still have the rack if anyone wants it, simple to use as it clamps the fork lower, and the BB shell and is really solid.
I still can't figure how to post photos here or I'd put them up.. if anyone is interested, I can always mail them.. or if you can be bothered..link here
