electric part of the ignition

Hi !
I need your help please ?
I have ab 01 r1100s sport from new with 42500 miles on her.
I was driving home and noticed the power gone altogether when turning left.
I traced it to below to the white plastic under the ignition.
Is this easy to find ? ie is it a standard part used on most older beemers ?
Is it a job worth tackeling myself or would you recommend I leave it to the pros ?

Depending where the break is it may be possible to repair the loom or it is availible as a spare part.
