Just couldn't get rid of the K...
It (1984 K100) has a rear Koni suspension unit, which was labelled up and marketed as a 'Dial-A-Ride'. Thing is, it's nothing like the real 'Dial-A-Ride' units of old. I've googled around and I'm fairly certain it is derived from Koni's 3012/3014 series of race car units (It has a '3014' part number and looks like 'em!)
It's a threaded body, gas and oil unit with adjustable rebound. It needs a rebuild, and a rod seal at the very least.
Googling again, Koni don't seem too interested in providing motorbike support, now that they've dropped bikes from their range. Apparently the Koni bike products are now made by 'Ikon'.I doubt they can help though, because it's a car unit.
It's all stripped, ready for the rebuild, but I've no idea where to go for a rod seal. I've never done anything with a gas-pressured shock either, but I'm guessing I can machine it to fit a scrader valve somewhere so's it can be recharged?
Any advice would be welcome
cheers

'Hinterachsge' translates as 'rear axle'.(Not 'Differential', so f*** off)
