Dunno if anyone saw the R1100S fork lowers on oohbay recently, but I bought them. Anyway, they're slightly different from mine, and I need help identifying them. They look just like 1100S fork lowers, they have the early type of caliper mounts (for brembo calipers) and the steel part is blued. Only thing is they are 10mm longer below the bottom yoke. The distance in the photo on my bike is about 140mm, the mystery forks are about 150mm. I've read that 04 Boxercups had longer GS forks fitted - but an 04 bike wouldn't have the early calipers?
Any ideas - thanks for any help. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/809/dscf4441c.jpg/[/img]http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/809/dscf4441c.jpg/

many thanks - yep it's about 138mm between the lower casting and the underside of the bottom yoke.
The seller was mortified that he'd got it wrong, plus, the refunded postage would be 20 quid, so it'd be a lot better for everyone if we could find out what the forks are really off. Then they could be sold to a good home.

Hi Chris!
From memory the GS legs are about 10mm longer than the S'. They did them in blue with early 'brembo' caliper fitment too.

Thanks for the replies. Identified as 1150GS legs pre-2002. Numpty here didn't spot they'd no mudguard mounting lugs, doh.
