R1100S Not Whizzin'

Hi all,
My 2005 R1100S won't start. I notice she's not make that petrol pump whirring soung when I switch on the ignition.
Any suggestions re: where to start would be much appreciated!

one of the possible symptoms of hall effect sensor failure is the fuel pump not firing. Perhaps this is what your problem is?

When the hall sensor went Llangothen on mine the fuel pump primed when the ignition was turned on but would not cycle when i turned the wheel plugs out [in gear] also no spark when turned over on starter
I would start by checking the wireing[spelin] to the fuel pump, check fuses first then get the plastics off

... just a couple of DOH! things to try.. (caught me out before
)
Side stand is up
and
make sure it really IS in neutral.
