Hi from Sussex!

Hi everyone! Joined today, and took delivery of my R1100S today also. You may spot a link....
Bought her unseen (except for a small picture) - she's a 99 T plate with (pause for breath) 98000 miles under her belt, and hasn't been used for a good few years. I would say it was a barn find, but I dont think she's been anywhere nearly as comfortable as a barn - it looks like she's seen a few Scottish winters!
Safe to say she's going to take a little more work than I anticipated. I had an early warning when the delivery driver greeted me with "Hi - I have your project outside!"
I don't know what the motorcycling equivalent of "we're gonna need a bigger boat" is, but that's what I'm thinking now!

Anyhow, I'm in W Sussex, the bike is Mandarin and lacking a stand of any description, so now I've finished my tea I guess I should go and find one. If you have one for sale in the classified section expect a PM form me in the next few minutes. I'm sure I'll be back soon with plenty of annoying requests and questions, so please bear with me. I respond fairly well to sarcasm and well written put-downs!
Bye for now, Alastair.

welcome ! 98k that's barely run in ! I've a mere 93k on my '99 Mandarin example. Once you didn't pay too much and don't mind getting your hands dirty you'll be fine....

Thanks everyone. I don't THINK I paid too much for it, but I guess only time will tell!
