Returning.....

A long long time ago at a jolly wet Burton on Trent meeting I pitched up with my R1200S, think it was one of the first ones....fast forward past a k1200r, GSA, S1000R , RT12SE and I've arrived back but this time with an HP2 Sport in Motorsport colours. What a lovely bit of kit...so hi , again.

Welcome Back Stu,
A very wet Burton??--That would be 2006 and it would be your Black 12S parked up early on I should think. As far as I can remember it was the day after the 1200s launch, First one we had seen on the road.

Was that 2006 Burton? I thought that was the one Burton meet I went to?
Which year did Boxered (Steve) come along on the Sat afternoon? Was that 2006 Steve?
Whatever year that was - I don't remember any R1200s?
Anyway - Still love the HP2s........

I got there rather early and left early as I was due at oulton park for the touring cars. Would be good to have these massed meets again.

Yes I think it was 2006, I rocked up at 9.55am just in time for the ride out if memory serves.....and I was informed that I'd just missed a chap on an R1200S who'd stopped by to say hello.
