Chrome Plating?

Post by JamesL »

Just wondering if anyone knows a quality / reliable chrome plater? I'm considering reblinging some of the trim on the R100RS so mostly small items; in which case location isn't too much of an issue.

I gather it's not cheap...

Only place I have used that did not lose any parts was Derby Plating. However, they are horrendously expensive but do a "Rolls Royce" job.

Type up a list of all the parts you send, also take a photograph of them laid out and enclose copies to whoever you decide use.

If you deliver in person, take another copy and get them to sign it so there is no argument over lost parts.

Let us know how you get on.

Thanks, and I'll certainly feed back. Tbh it hadn't occurred to me they might lose parts, clearly I still have much to learn!
