OK Guys,
Dinner booked for 25 @ 7-00pm on the Sat evening, You must make your choice from the menu on the Friday evening in order for us all to sit down together and eat. Meet in the White Hart Friday @ 7-00 pm book your dinner for Sat and then do whatever you wish. Alan and myself will most likely be in the Car as he has just had more surgery around his eyes but we will be there.
Peter.

I have sorted out a meandering route to Hawes from Ride mag through the Derbyshire dales and Yorkshire for the Friday.
Any clues as to route or mileages for Saturday and Sunday?
Will you have it downloadable for Sat navs?

Hi Guys
The Saturday route will be somewhere in the region of 180-200 miles, with a break stop, lunch stop / fuel. Route will be done in the next couple of days.. thanks for the reminder

I managed to get to Hawes at the weekend for 1 night (camping)
It was good weather on the Saturday, stopped at the filling Station in Keswick and Devils Bridge on the way down. Home over Buttertubs & the Hartside Cafe!
Apparently there's a singer in the Fountain this Saturday nite!
The White Hart has certainly gone up market since AndrewS and I stayed there in 2006!
Have a Great Weekend...

Guys & girls - I am really sorry to say I won't be able to come up to Hawes next weekend. Ann's now working on both friday and saturday nights, plus leaves for a job mid-morning on sunday which would mean me having to leave Hawes not much after 7am. It's just created a childcare headache to the point where my conscience has won out.
To say I'm gutted is an under-statement as this year's been pretty much bereft of motorcycle trips/ride-outs already and was
so looking forward to spending some quality time with you folks, and especially watching Bob increase the share price of Guinness.

I really needed a w/e away.
To that end, there's now a twin room available at the White Hart for both fri & sat nights if anyone wants it. I'll leave this option open until end-ex tomorrow evening, after which if there's no interest I'll phone the WH and cancel.
Hope you have a great w/e.
Edit: On hold until tomorrow (we're trying Plan B)

Paul - I'll get back to you in a bit. We're trying to organise someone to look after the kids next sunday, if we can I shall be coming up to Hawes. If not then the room at the WH will be up for grabs (and I'll sit at home being a grumpy dad!).

Back to Plan A fortunately - managed to get things sorted for sunday, just means I'll have to leave fairly early to get back home for midday.

Hi All,
Just a reminder that if you are joining the group meal on Sat evening you need to call into the White Hart on Friday and prebook your meal. With this in mind I suggest meeting in the White Hart on Friday evening 7-00/7-30 ish. See you all then
Regards Peter.
