The speedo pickup reads off the rear disc bolts and is not upset by sprocket changes .most people will run 16/44 ,i run 16/42 but i run a 190/55 and found 16/44 to much with the 55 profile tyre.and they are oe cans.

Funny i rode Dunlops test bike which was a 'Factory' with the instructions 'It doesn't do anything under 8 grand' they were right, when i got involved in the MCN test thing,i got got the short straw and bugger me did the most miles on one as well, the more i moaned, the more i had to ride the poxy thing,it steers, handles, and brakes like a good'un,but the dear lord never made a more awkward bike to sit on,you need long arms and short legs.

The problem being, a good big'un will beat a good little'un every time, think a Millie is quick god knows what you'd make of 1098,the RC8 is nice, assuming you get one that fuels right, and while new Blade is your normal robotic H,but boy does it get the job done.

You're better off with something you can make squirm, better a bike you can thrash than vice versa.

Right now I'm preferring my 37bhp GS to my 6000bhp gixxer.

Is a GS just a normal bike with built-in zimmer frame, am I getting old, or are the roads just too crowded?

Answers on a postcard to archie.

Please be qiuck before I ride the Gixxer like the GS again.....
