In all honesty these work and work well i also believe they saved me a lot of work and money the reason behind my thinking is i was looking for a set of good GS1100 heads & header pipes to give mine more mid range grunt.

When i think about the work that would have been involved making up an exhaust alone, then finding out it didn't work out how i thought it would,

Thanks again Mark [Lennie]

Best mod you can make? probably if Carlsburg made mods for BMW's they would make these

Dai,

I am glad you are happy with the results. All of my customers feel the same way as you do but are not as vocal about it.

My late farther always told me if something good tell the world,
if somethings bad tell the world,

There's lots of tuning mod's out there that do nothing and cost lot's

There's lots of things you can buy to make your bike lighter fit all of them and you would probably lose more weight by visiting a toilet before you ride [unless you go the whole hog and fit carbon wheels etc £££££££££]

If you want a fast bike don't buy a boxer twin buy an inline four

If you want a capable bike with a bit of character[spelling] buy a Boxer twin and give the midrange a bump with Lennies sprockets

To coin a phrase from out american cousins the best bang for buck you can get

Been waiting for a set of sprockets from Lennie and got a card delivered this morning telling me theres a £33.80 C&E charge !!!!!

£33.80 - WTF ???

Robbing cnuts !!!

UK buyers beware- this makes a reasonably priced product feckin expensive.

No criticism of Lennie here, just of rip off Britain - sometimes I think they are looking for me alone to bail the country out of the shit....

Rant over

Dave - check that they have applied the duty correctly.

They have a habit of reading the $$$$ and pretending it is ££££........

Also - make sure they haven't charged it on the postage cost - only the material value.

The calculation is on the paperwork - just make sure that they have converted to GBP, and not included the postage element.

Last time I got something from across the pond I had to pay in full (which postage costs where included)
before they would release it to me, was told I could refuse to take it or pay and appeal against the costs.

That's strange. I received my sprockets a few weeks ago and it just arrived in the post as normal, no C&E/thief charge. Maybe it's just pot luck as to whether they try and fleece people? It's worth checking where you stand but you know what they're like - they've probably got you over a barrel.

I send a lot to the UK and USA and it is very rare that there are charges.

I state they are motorcycle parts and the value is $200 AUD so I am not sure why you got charges.

I would dispute it and ask why you are one of a very few charged.

I still have 7 sets of the current batch of sprockets and I am prepared to sell them for $210.00 AUD including the $30.00 international registered mail. This is a saving of $20.00 on the current pricing.

I have a new batch on the way.

Email me here if you are interested.
