I had a little go against a Gixxer 1000 last year coming home from work. Sat at the lights at Stirling Corner roundabout, light change and he's off. I went past him on the roundabout, had the bike on the redline in second comming onto the A1M, into third, redline approaching and the fucker came past on the back wheel.
