I've finally calculated the angle of the dangle of the underswinging diddlybar and concluded that if it feels better.... it is!!!

With some of the devices that clip onto the existing "drum", converting it into a larger diameter, how do you go on with alignment of the cable running into the opening in the throttle body? Will the cable rub as it is (perhaps) no longer aligned? Or is this not an issue?

Edit: by drum, I mean the bit where the cable sits. I'm using the word drum as the action is akin to a winch.

Spool? It's a bit short to be called a spool? What's the official name?

That did not seem to be an issue when I fitted mine.

Cheers

I did not like the throttle on my 1200 at first, however once I had adapted, I quite like it now.

I find that in some gears, the point where the throttle torque increases, corresponds with the engine coming on-song. Gives it a bit of a feel of a mild two stroke type power band.

I know some people who have a better fuelled bike than mine, miss the power band, even though its an indicator of a bike that could be set up better.
