Duggers, re. the VFR 1200, I test rode a new one a few months back. It's a weighty beast at over 260kg but wears it well. Good balance with plenty of creamy power. 2014-on bikes (I think) have a slightly larger fuel tank but a relatively poor range is still a common grizzle. An annoying vibration felt especially through the rear of the tank at 80mph in top gear, and an absence of 'lumpy' character (turbine smooth) spoiled the bike for me somewhat.

If you plan to explore the Honda further you could drop El-nicko (still occasionally of this parish) a line. He's owned one for a while now and would no doubt share his wisdom.
