These are your brakes!!! Subject to thermal cycles and high load. The professionals can't straighten them, but a bloke on the web says you can do it with a magic marker and a crowbar?
I would think again. It may be a case of sucking it up and forking out.
I would also call your dealer and see if they will give you a discounted price, given the known problems with discs on this model. You never know?
Hi,
PITA to buy a new Disc or Discs I know but these are your brakes we are talking about!! Trying to straighten with an adjustable and brute force My 12s was given an advisory for a warped rear disc last MOT but I wont be trying to force it back into true. End of the day they are your brakes but I might just have to share the road with you.
I'm guessing they'll skim them maybe, which has been available on cars for years.
If it were me I'd just get new ones give a new pair of Brembos are £198 and, to me, there's two things that you don't mess with on a big bike. The tyres and the brakes with suspension nibbling at the definition too

Motoliner said they press them flat.
S T said he spins them in a jig and bends them back.
Where can I get a pair for £198 because I've been quoted that for one.

Thanks appreciate that will probably get some if I can't sort it out myself.
I'll have to check the run out to ensure the disc is the problem and not the wheel, I'll see how far its out, I can't see a little "tweak" here an there can hurt!
