don't dismiss my wire wool idea, it was common practice for amateur rally cars to stuff the exhausts to get through scrutineering

I know.
A couple of friends do enduro races. They told me it is quite effective.
I'm also considering that if I hammer them a bit, they might fit.

I meant the baffles before fitting them in.
It is just a millimiter... I can see some work to be done with the file tonight.

Grinded/cut one. Still doesn't fit.
Wire wool as backup.
Still looking for alternatives though
...and also a decent "spares" shop around London.
