I think the latter point may be the most valid, I did my best to scoff the whole buffet that Mr Bransons' crew served up at Cadwell - even Mr Canning managed to scoff a few mouthfuls and he's alergic to to Corporate Sponsors

C/f sidepanels are no lighter than stock - something to be said for the single seat and sub frame tho'
What really interests me is the c/f wishbone, must be at least four plates of Jacks special breakfast to be saved there

I could suggest replacing the gearbox with an auto jobbie and cutting your left leg off... could save in the region of 10-15 kgs, but how would you use the sidestand?

Or just dump the Corbin seat

The new hydro electric contraption off the LT behmoth could be the answer for the stand, not sure about the leg option

Bit late to this thread but hey ho..
You could drill holes in everything including helmet, wheels, tyres, fuel tank.. I've seen it done in aeroplanes and old race cars so it must work.
Oh and lose the wheel weights, I had new tyres recently and the wheel weights look like something out of a sea fishing tackle shop. Must have oval wheels to need that much weight.

Can't help with many of these weight saving suggestions, but I have just returned from 'Intermot' (working - of course) and I am trying to follow up on a one-piece Carbon Fibre rear end.
It is a one-piece single seat that replaces the rear frame, seat, lights , indicators etc, etc. The only thing that it includes is the exhaust mount.
It is strong and light but unfortunately, unless you put on your own wiring and brake light, it would not even be suitable for a 'daytime only' MOT.
If I can get hold of them, I will post it
