Hi there,
I applied the four-quarters rim-trim described by ianbcr - here is a pic of the back wheel of my 1200S:

Just put some tape on the Prilla wheels. Still undecided if I like it or not
I think it was 6mm tape applied in quarters. Pretty simple to apply and even easier to remove
Any opinions?

What do you think?..... tried to pick up the grey of the panels.... black would be to stark.
And another of my latest toy... just for the hell of it!!

Your S is the same colour as mine and I had thought about some wheel stripes. You can get them in a darker metallic grey than the ones you have which would match the colour of the panels better. (ebay I think). Your stripes look a similar colour to the fork bottoms.... perhaps a bit too pale, but that's only my opinion _________________ Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose |

Hi Daveg..... I did not see that colour, otherwise I would have tried it. I was trying to get a close grey to the panels.. Oh well... depending on how they last, I might try them again with the colour you mention... quite cheap after all.
The fork bottoms are pretty near the originals (the bottom yoke is the original colour) and are an idea I got of here (Winger I think) Hammerite Silver smooth aerosol can.... I am very pleased with the results.
Cheers
