Hi there,
I applied the four-quarters rim-trim described by ianbcr - here is a pic of the back wheel of my 1200S:

Cheers,

Cheers guys..... that looks great on the black wheels of the 1200... I have the yellow, front and back..... not so easy to match up I fear.

Just put some tape on the Prilla wheels. Still undecided if I like it or not Confused
I think it was 6mm tape applied in quarters. Pretty simple to apply and even easier to remove Wink

Any opinions?

Your S is the same colour as mine and I had thought about some wheel stripes. You can get them in a darker metallic grey than the ones you have which would match the colour of the panels better. (ebay I think). Your stripes look a similar colour to the fork bottoms.... perhaps a bit too pale, but that's only my opinion Smile

Hi Daveg..... I did not see that colour, otherwise I would have tried it. I was trying to get a close grey to the panels.. Oh well... depending on how they last, I might try them again with the colour you mention... quite cheap after all.

The fork bottoms are pretty near the originals (the bottom yoke is the original colour) and are an idea I got of here (Winger I think) Hammerite Silver smooth aerosol can.... I am very pleased with the results.

Cheers

Sorry Stuart, re read my post. Wasn't suggesting your fork bottoms are too pale, they look good, just right in fact. I was thinking that the stripes were perhaps a bit too pale to be a match for the grey panels. Embarassed

I was thinking of the medium grey but it's hard to tell from such a small colour sample.
