Hi all

Just purchased a 2001 R1100s in silver and yellow last saturday and back on a beemer for first time in 8 years (R80RT after knee op.)
Live near a wee town called Ballyclare and wanted the s to help calm down now I'm getting older 42 LOL :D

Riding it home I realized it's not that calm but its so confortable and inspiring in the front end just have to curb the urge to see just how fast it will take that corner.

I'm a member of a motorbike club " The Quay Vipers " over here which does a good bit of charity fundraising but also a few of us attend alot of motorbike rallies and race meetings both in Ireland and mainland UK next trip to lake district may day weekend with a visit to Oulton Park for BSB on bank Holiday monday.

Will rack your brains here for tips on the s and try and help anyone who wants to know anything about bike trips to the Emerald Isle ( biker friendly accomidation, ferry deals and anything you need to know).
And if anyone makes it over here even arrange to show you some of are better roads and good ale houses

Talk again soon

Welcome to the site Joe and enjoy your new toy! Are you not tempting fate a bit with your motorcycle club name, given the historical lack of sympathy shown by St. Patrick towards snakes?

All the best,

Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.
