I know it's not an S, but it'll give you an idea of how the ABBA stand works, and where it mounts etc. I just use a trolly jack under the engine and it makes for a very sturdy way of holding both wheels off the ground. The Abba's extremely stable, and a very well made piece of kit.
I've got the chunky NWS stand that is very secure. I use a bottle jack under the engine to raise the front end but am working geting some axle stands to pop under the front forks.
I was oiling the KTM chain yesterday and just lifted the bike onto a layed over triangular road cone to raise the rear wheel off the ground. 131kg bikes - can't beat 'em when it comes to manhandling.
I am looking to get a stand that I can use with the bellypan fitted. Will an abba stand allow this?
