Thanks very much for the info Steve, appreciated. Unfortunately, its got me beaten! :evil: I've just had another...sweltering...hour in the garage, to no avail. I'll have a go again in the morning, but if its not out by lunchtime (!), I'll leave it for a few days to save my sanity! :lol:

Maybe this video could be helpfull

He works on a side pannier but as he say it the same on a top box also .

Got the little b****rd!! :D It took about 10 mins - once I knocked up the tool as per the dimensions in Steve's link, made up an inspection lamp small enough to drop into the inspection hole, and put my extra-strong reading glasses on....all became clear! :lol:

Anyway, I'm just off to post it Steve, hopefully you'll have it by tomorrow.
