i have different bar ends on mine so they are available - they are the R & G ones that have a replaceable crash pads on the end - can remember noticing much difference when i put them on but i dont suffer badly with any vibes.

Try a different petrol brand or higher octane ? ( see older threads) Transmission vibes? Good old BMW "character"milleplod wrote:Is there anything else it could be?

I'm going to take the end-weights off this morning and see if anything can be done in that department. That's a thought re fuel, I have to go well out of my way to get super, but I'll tank up with it over the weekend.
I've been working through a list of things I could have affected when I've serviced the bike, bearing in mind it didn't seem to have these vibes last year!
Silencer removed - replaced after service.
Rear wheel taken off - replaced, weights still in place.
Rear drive dropped and serviced - reassembled.
Tappets checked, rocker end-float checked - all good.
Oil/oil filter/air filter changed.
DCPR8EIX plugs fitted for a while, now back on standard DCPR8EKCs.
All bits that were removed/loosened have been checked, and they're all fastened up properly!
The search continues....

grip Puppies - had them on my ST and they seemed to help but as the guy in "Chicken Run" said maybe "Its all in your head" - Also Grip puppies slow down the effect of Heated Grips ie it takes linger for the heat to get to your hands

Probably just the early onset of Alzheimer's - you've forgotten how bad it was before, that's all!
I have days on my 11s where I think its vibrating badly and others, when the sun is out, when its as smooth as silk.
So I don't worry about it now and just get on with riding it.

Can't say mine is ever 'smooth as silk', unless you count turned off and parked!
Was riding home from having the clutch done yesterday and was very aware of the vibes, especially when 'cranked up' the rev range...
TB's should be fine, but I guess I'll have to have a look at the valves.
Maybe it's just me, and I should get used to the BM's 'character'...
