The guy is a complete cretin! But wait....what's this, he owns a company selling or promoting dash cams.

He clearly set out to engineer this situation for promotional purposes. He should be prosecuted for wasting police time in addition to whatever traffic offences (driving without due care? etc) he may have committed.
