...at the Millenium Stadium last Saturday. Took my brother along as a belated 40th gift. We were both blown away. What a spectacle! What an atmosphere! And the smell of burnt methanol...

Can't overstate how good it was. Maybe one of the few world level motorsport events where the riders are still fairly accessible too. Already bought tickets for next year - front row opposite the start/finish line

An old RAF pal and I used to go to Peterborough fairly regularly to watch the speedway and as you say Mike, it's a riot. 4-lap races, loads of action, noise and smells. Brilliant.

We went last year, cracking time and easy to get to.

It really is a good day out and in a great area.

Hello,

We have ours booked for next year - Block M7 overlooking the start line. We've been thinking about it for a couple of years and the TV coverage on Saturday made us decide to attend in person.

I bet the Travelodge prices will rocket for 8/9th June next year
