There are two main display modes:

SafeDisplay - this is the default mode, giving a snapshot of the maximum figures measured in the last corner.

Live Mode - as a downloadable extra, the device displays data in real time. Live Mode is only recommended for use with a bike-mounted camera, where it can be an invaluable track tool.

In addition to the in-ride display, Leanometer also records and stores the last 25 corners for playback after a ride.

Finally, Leanometer can also be set to log data, with a capacity of approximately five hours. This can then be downloaded onto PC for analysis using the supplied USB cable".

Yup! Guaranteed to make you push and push and ............... crash.

I wonder if it has a feature which detects a 0 angle (or 180 deg) and displays "You have crashed!"

The S1000RR and R have a sensor to detect that! Apparently there's issues with the engine where if it's been on its side it can hydrolock the engine and cause it to grenade itself if you try to start it again so I suspect that's why they have it.

I seem to recall all of the latest LC boxers have it built in and that when connected to the latest BMW Navigator all sorts of settings can be accessed, like lean angle and even the amount of times the brakes have been pressed etc.

Wow!

No shit! that is fantastic I have been waiting for ages to dump my theodolite from my bike. I am always keen to know what angle I am from perpendicular on every bend, that is sure gonna save me loads of faffing
