clutch lever r1200 s

Post by ted »

hi, even though i have the adjustable lever set to its nearest position, i would prefer it to be less or a reach. Has anyone tried any of the aftermarket levers and apart from the reach, are there any that can make the clutch action feel lighter?

thanks

Hi
I have a pazzo lever on the clutch side. Very nicely made and adjustable via a small lever. The clutch is quite light as is, a different lever isn't going to make the action any lighter unless you pull the very end to get more leverage. You would have to change the master cylinder bore size to make the action lighter. You may have a problem if you feel the clutch is heavy. Maybe a have so look at a fluid change and a quick check off the slave cylinder. Pazzo levers can be bought from sandbar.
All the best

Don't try go for the Wunderlicth ones!

I still have them on my R12 and have no problems but have wrapped some tape around the adjuster to make sure the circlip does not come off.

Have a look at these, very good, well made, maybe try the short ones? My wife has the normal ones now fitted to her K13 but should have tried the shorter ones, more movement of the lever as it is shorter. If that makes sense. :?

It's a similar length, not the short levers.

I have The short Pazzo levers from Sandbar. Still a light easy action. As Gus said, maybe you have a slight fault?

Pazzo long levers on my 12S. I'm fortunate that Pazzo is just a couple of miles from where I live!
I managed to get them to build levers for the HP2 Sport also.....great guys to deal with!

These levers work great!

Cheers

i wondered whether different levers had different pivot points and whether this had an effect on the leverage applied - hence a different feel

isn't the pivot point determined by the design of the master cylinder? :)
