Recommended tyres for r1100s
Guys,
Can we make a recommendation for all-purpose tyres (commuting as opposed to long mileage); happy to make preference towards one of the modern winter (pilot?)... Appreciate quick answers as might need to purchase tomorrow for trip back from Edinburgh to London on Sunday.

I am still using Michelin Pilots (the original pattern) From M&P or Busters usually about £130 to £140 a pair and get them fitted locally. I keep using them because grip is really good wet or dry and they last the longest of all the tyres I have tried over the last 12 years (129k miles). especially on the R1100S and R1200ST

There would appear to be a surfeit of prolixity and sesquipedalian content today please do not use a big word when a singularly un-loquacious and diminutive linguistic expression will satisfactorily accomplish the contemporary necessity
That's a great price - I paid £120 for just a rear a Pilot 2CT last year (which has squared off something rotten). The Teutonic Tangerine wrote:I am still using Michelin Pilots (the original pattern) From M&P or Busters usually about £130 to £140 a pair and get them fitted locally.
