A422 Alcester to Worcester

On a rare trip in daylight and not involving the M40 I've just discovered this road, what fun! All the best twisty bits are clearly marked with '50' signs, and if you can get a clear run it's a blast!

Cheers James, that's very close to my favourite area for an all day spin. I might have been down it before but I'll be sure to check it out as soon as it warms up a bit.

The bit between Banbury and Stratford-on-Avon is not too bad either.

Absolutely - in fact checking the map you could try the A422 / A46 / A422 all the way from Banburs to Worcester...

Also, the A361 Banburs to Chipping Norton is a good ride once you clear Bloxham. Again, you could do a nice potter down the A361 all the way to Burford, then back up the A424 to Stow - astonishingly fast if you get a clear road (if going fast is your thing of course)... :D

Because my route is anti-clockwise I normally do A424 from Stow to Burford; and yes, it is quite a quick road.
