check Classic Motorcycle Mechanics for the tank restoration - there are ads in the back also this months or last months had an article on said procedure

Use Rusteco for the interior of the tank. It sure did fix my rusty Hodaka tank!

I have never heard of a Difazio 90S before. Is that some kind of leading link front end?

Yes, there were some pretty grotesque fairing (and bodywork) designs in the seventies. One reason why BMW's r100 RS looked so good when it first came out I guess.

Interesting story of yours H. Are you going to be riding it when restored?
