Dash Bulbs

Post by SAS Tom »

Dash bulbs are playing funny buggers as the moment, one goes so I take the bike to bits and replace it. I put it back together and ride for a bit and another one goes. So I start the whole process again.

I'm a bit bored of doing this so I thought of changing the bulbs for LED ones. Does anyone know what size they are so I can get the right ones?

Bulbs keep blowing....general advice is don't keep replacing them, until you have tested the regulator output voltage.

Last year my alternator went west, and before it blew had spiked enout=ugh over-voltage through to also sh*g the battery - so I'd say if you can't borrow one, the cost of a simple battery/alternator tester from a car spares shop (tenner) is an investment.

Good luck

Thanks for that i'll check it out. The bike has done over 60k now so doesn't seem too unlikely.
