best screen for comfort bars

Post by SAS Tom »

Tip: Styles can be applied quickly to selected text. w find my MRA screen with spoiler isn't as effective as it was.

Just wondered if anyone else has had this and what screen they changed to.

Tried the MRA touring screen the one with the 3" adjustable tip
Tried the MRA touring screen the one with the "flip" built in
Currently have Powerbronze double bubble
I,m 5-10" and have Barbacks fitted
All the above screens are very similar in putting the wind at the visor area and thus are noisy. The standard 1100s screen puts the wind at upper chest shoulder area, less noisy but less comfort in that I,d like the wind over the helmet. Trouble is....for me at least.... some of the bigger screens look out of sorts. Looks like we have similar issues :(

Mine has a taller screen, which I initially thought looked like a dogs dinner, I've persevered with it though and got used to it. I don't think its the full height touring screen, but possibly somewhere in between. I also have the bars in the standard position. It does give better wind protection than the standard screen, possibly at the expense of a better look.
This ain't Twitter you know!

The taller than standard touring screen from BMW. Mine was a copy. I think they are available from Motorworks.
