HP2 in Plymouth.

Post by bikemad99 »

We are in Plymouth for a few days for a special wedding,& while out for a walk saw a very nice HP2 going through the town centre. When we got down to the sea front below the Hoe saw the bike parked & a young man sat on the wall nearby.I asked him if it was his,& he replied yes & he had had it from new. After a chat about BMWs in general he casually said that he had also got another 2 HP2s at home that he just polished & did not ride.He said he realised that they would not make them for long so thought they would be a good buy to keep. I dare not ask what he did for a living, but he seemed a genuine nice guy. Will report after tomorrow on the wedding.
