Taxidermist

Postby stanhort » Sat Nov 18, 2006 5:54 am

At a small place called Anna Creek Station in the outback of South Australia (25000 square miles) there lived a couple of boundary riders whose sole job it was to use a trailer filled with fencing wire and hauled by a team of camels to patrol the station's boundary fences fixing holes in the fence made by pigs, emus and 'roos.

After about fifteen years not leaving the property, they decide to go into the closest town for a few beers and look for a couple of tarts.

On riding down the main street they spot a building with the word "Taxidermist" written over the door. Not being very bright and not having seen this building on their last visit, one turns to the the other and asks "what do you think a taxidermist does? The other bloke says he hasn't a bloody clue so goes in to ask. When he comes back out and mounts his horse his mate says "well what does he do?"

The reply -

Just another boundary rider!
