Ooh, it's lovely ...

Had it two days and 150-odd miles.

Blimmin expensive (£95 inc. delivery off eBay) but oozes quality and more importantly a very clever design and comfortable fit ... allows a lot of arm/shoulder movement when on bike unlike proper walking/trekking daypacks that I have used before from Berghaus and Karrimor, etc. None of the usual cutting in or shoulder ache as the weight is carried low down - allows you to ride as normal.

Two pockets built in to the front of the Quadloc harness thing are handy for phone and wallet - as they need to be because you can't use the breast pockets on your jacket with this system as far as I can see. So that could be seen as a bad thing.

Went for the R35 as you can get a fullface lid in it off the bike. Quite big but lots of straps to pull it all in to check when not carrying much.

Will report back after the winter on the build quality but it's looking good.

I've been thinking about one of these. Will a laptop fit in it?

In the R35 ... no problem. It'll take a full face lid when expanded - loads of room for even the biggest laptop (and additional monitor  ). I think the R25 would be big enough also.

They do inner dry bags (I guess for things such as laptops) but I am using my old Ortlieb one ... and also a waterproof external pack for things like laptops ...
