I've cleaned up similar with polishing mops and soap but to be honest they end up the same very shortly! If you do a search of the forum there will be plenty of advice around - i think some use the wonder wheels acid stuff but i've not tried it myself and i think you have to watch the paint work.

Wear them as a badge of pride, bikes are meant to be ridden, this is a sign that YOU actually spend more time riding than polishing.

2nd
If you really want shiny headers, then you should purchase some "wonder wheels" and a 5cm crepe bandage, wrap the bandage around your header and soak liberally with WW.
Go to pub.
next morning/afternoon ( depending on hangover severity) carefully remove the sodden bandage.

3rd
Take a tube of autosol and polish lightly for 5 mins.

4th
Step back and admire your handywork 8)

Cheers guys!

I'm not overly worried about them just thought it would finish the bikes look being a bit tidier/cleaner.
