Excellent Accomodation for Normand, France

Postby Rossy1100S » Tue Sep 25, 2012 11:57 am

Just had a fantastic week over in France and can highly recommend the following as an ideal base for touring the Normandy region of France, or as a stop over heading South/returning North.

http://www.maisonlaudiere.com/index.html

It is owned by Nigel and Carole and they offer fantastic hospitality, greeting you with a drink when you arrive back from your travels, run you to the local town if you wish to eat out, but also will cook for you if you prefer to eat in with them.

Carole is a good cook and the meals we had with them were fantastic.

The old farmhouse has been converted to a very high standard and all rooms are immaculate

Maison Laudiere is held in high regard on the UKGser website, so if you wish to look at any other feedback on their place, take a look on that site under the search "Maison Laudiere"

We will definitely be going back next year, highly recommended

Geoff

No worries Geoff - I've been called far worse. ;)
