Is there any mileage in choosing a weekend and all finding our own accommodation, might have to meet in smaller groups for food and meet for drinks after or maybe rent a room in a pub and have a takeaway and drinks then we only need a car park to meet up in on Saturday morning.

I did think we could’ve done that in the Lion Cricceith but as it was never offered by the management.

Having a quick look at the different places I should think it’s possibly too late to book now Al, seems most Friday Saturday nights are mostly full

No heirs or graces here. I’d happily do a YHA, that said my diary is rammed now.

Getting short notice for May, might be best to bin it for this year, and get our heads together in the Autumn for 2023, the Hospitality sector is still struggling to get back to normal at the moment, in another 12 months things should hopefully be better.

Hi Peter
One or two things on in June, including birth of grandchild in London, but we'd be keen to come along depending on date.

All the best

That would be my appreciation too. when there is uncertainty in accommodation - it is doubly-difficult to get commitment to go.

Next year should be more stable, but there could be a lot less venues in existence too.

Oh well - here's hoping.................................

That`s a yes from me but i reckon the all eggs in one basket think will be a struggle.. so a date set, with a location, and find your own accom should work, (Scarghanistan may be suitable?) I hear there are inexpensive rooms available at the Grand Hotel
