I'm still in and up for the group meal on Saturday night.

Cheers,

Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Hi Stoney & All

Been hanging back to make sure we can make it, and the 'Man from DelMonte, he say YES', sooo, Carolyn and I will be coming down Sat morning for the ride out, fingers crossed the weather holds good 8) but will be going home again afterwards cause we're off to see Showaddywaddy, yes, you heard, Showaddywaddy at Dunfermline - "Hey Rock'n'Roll" 8)

Stoney / Chris > I'd be happy to do a ride out for the group, we'll be on My XJR :D if that is allowed to lead a Boxertrix ride out
I was made redundant at end of July and haven't got another job as yet, quite enjoying it actually, feels like an extended furlough without any pay   so I have all the time in the world to do a recce before next Saturday

Let me know and whatever, we'll see you all Saturday morning outside the Buccy :bounce:

Hi Chris
Glad to hear your Alive & Kicking Mate

I’ve been busy on the bike front myself. All in the XJR :-
4 days in Wales at our XJR AGM - 915 miles at end of August. The following weekend :
5 days in Scotland on a Bike and Whisky Tour - 1050 miles including Mull & Skye
Last week : Carolyn and me did a 5 day tour in Northern Ireland & Ireland - 917 miles
And it only rained one morning, the rest of the time it was sunshine and some cloud, Wales , Scotland & Ireland ffs, Brilliant

See ya Saturday

Hi John...Absolutely brilliant that you can lead the ride on Saturday - Thanks!!! I was dreading having to do that with my limited local knowledge. Could I ask that you share the route and itinerary please? Just helps people know what to expect which makes the day a bit easier for some.

Sorry I won't be able to join you guys(and gals) for this jaunt.
Got some rather pressing health and other issues going on at the moment, but hope you all have a great time and find enough petrol for the trip.

Reg.
No problem up here in Borders, we do not panic, we stay calm and we carry on.

All good Reg.

I noted a chequered shirt theme going on in Hawes... (Brokeback Mountain Style) is this the dress theme for group dinner? Like, I bought a super levi one with pearl buttons and slim tailored fit , just for the occasion.. Candy Red

I'll be there for the Saturday morning ride out. I just need a time and place to meet up so as I can plan for what time to leave. It's only 115 miles so not too tragic. I've agreed a night out pass and have booked a room in Moffat so will, assuming there is any space left at the hotel, be joining you all for the evening meal on the Saturday. I'll ring the hotel and find out if I'm in or billy no mates on Saturday night.
